Thank you so much for visiting my web site! My name is Martha Williams and I am from Columbia, SC. I am the owner of The Lily Pad and every single design on the web site is original art created by me. I absolutely love what I do and have spent the past six years growing my business.
I have a business degree from Clemson University and worked for seven years in the Computer Services Division at the University of SC before becoming a stay at home Mom. By far being a Mom has been the most fulfilling part of my life and I am so grateful to have such a wonderful son. I have always dreamed of owning my own business and when my son became a teenager I created The Lily Pad.
This business has been so rewarding. The wonderful comments I receive from my customers when they receive their products is the most fulfilling part . My goal is to create a product that my customers love. I have met so many wonderful people through this business and I am gratefull to each and every one of my friends and customers for all their support.

1. Can I see a proof before ordering? Yes. A proof will be emailed to you for approval before you place your order.
2. Can a sample be mailed to me? Yes, I will be glad to mail you a sample.
3. Is there a charge for a new design? All art, borders, and colors on the website can be mixed and matched for free. I will email a free proof to you for approval. There is a design fee for new art and characters. The charge will be based on how complex the design is. I will be glad to give you a quote before I design a proof.
4. What is the turnaround time? Orders are shipped within a few days after your proof has been approved.
5. Will I receive a refund if there is an error with my order? Once you approve the proof you will not receive a refund unless the error was made by The Lily Pad. If the Lily Pad makes an error I will be glad to correct the error and reprint the cards for no charge.
6. Do you accept credit cards? Yes. A Paypal invoice will be mailed to you and you can pay with your paypal account or your credit card. You can also mail a check if you prefer..
7. What is the shipping charge? Shipping charge is as follows:
small orders, like gift tags and address labels, that fit in a normal envelope shipping charge $ 1.50
orders of $ 10 or less shipping charge is $ 2.00
orders of $ 10 - $ 20 shipping charge is $ 3.75
orders of $ 20 - $ 50 shipping charge is $ 5.00
orders of $ 51 to $99 shipping charge is $ 6.00
orders of $ 100 or more shipping is $ 7.00
8. Is there a minimum order for note cards? Yes, a minimum of 15 cards with characters or 12 of other designs.
9. What if my order is damaged during shipping? Please let me know as soon as possible and I will replace your order.
10. Can my order be shipped to a third party and can a gift message be included? Yes, I'll be glad to ship to a third party and include a free gift message.
11. Are envelopes included with the note cards and invitations? Yes, the price includes plain white envelopes. Lined envelopes are $ .50 each.
12. Are designs kept on file for reorders? Yes, all designs are permanently kept on file.
13. Is there a charge for gift wrapping? Most items come in a clear bag and tied with colorful ribbon or sealed with a cute sticker. There is a $ .50 charge for gift wrapping the note pads, bag tags, and picture frames.
